How Does Advanced EMDR Work?

Advanced EMDR

EMDR has traditionally taken 12-18 sessions to resolve trauma, with 4-6 sessions for history taking alone. With older models’ standard therapists will only treat 1-2 memories of trauma per session, whereas with this new advanced model, developed by Adrian Radford-Shute, we can now treat 10-15 memories per session.  Adrian have pioneered a system that safely and effectively reduces session times to just 2-4 in 98% of cases whilst still using the recommended EMDR 8 stage protocol. 


The advancements in technology and provision now also mean we can treat clients from anywhere in the world with virtual advanced EMDR sessions.


Advanced EMDR is not required to disclose or discuss details of traumatic events. EMDR has now been simplified into just 4 easy steps - FIND, FEEL, FOLLOW, FORGET - that's all it takes. The clinically tested simple Memory Mapping therapy is up to 80% faster than previously used methods, and will first FIND all the traumas to work on with the EASY EMDR in just minutes!

When you FIND and focus on one of the memories you will then FEEL the anxiety in the body, that’s the second easy step. You then FOLLOW the therapist's guidance and fingers with your eyes – and the old feeling you felt before reduces to nothing, and then you’ll take the fourth easy step to FORGET the physical and emotional effects the traumatic memory once had – and that’s it – Simple & Easy!


You then move on to the next memory and repeat the EASY EMDR 4-step process until ALL the memories you’ve mapped out have been fully resolved. It’s at that stage the anxiety, distractions, addictions, and physical conditions just fade away there and then in the same session as you move from feeling Post Traumatic Stress to - 

Post Traumatic GROWTH! This is the incredible place where you regain control of your life once more.
